This award recognises a person or group who shows leadership and a caring attitude to another young person or persons. Role Model
This award recognises a young person whose words and actions are worthy of emulation. Mentor
This award acknowledges a person of any age who, at some time, has provided long-term personal support to an individual between the ages of 13 and 25. The nominee for this award may have provided general support, or support in a specific area such as work, sport, study, spirituality, social or family life. The parents or primary carers of the individual being mentored are not eligible for nomination.

Group or Individual Supporting Youth or Youth Programs
This award acknowledges the efforts of an individual of any age, or a community group, who has provided support for young people or is involved in a program that supports, educates, or assists in the personal development of young people between the ages of 13 and 25. Examples of nominees include: a Police Officer, taxi/bus driver, teacher or other individual sensitive to youth issues, or a local business who has provided youth support. Organisations, such as church, youth, sporting or community groups may also be nominated. Nominees for this award deserve recognition because their actions go above and beyond the call of duty: they demonstrate an inspiring sense of care and responsibility for their fellow human beings.
